Historic Leuven

Leuven, Belgium, is a vibrant city where centuries-old tradition meets youthful energy. Anchored by KU Leuven—one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious universities—the city is an inviting tapestry of history, academia, and relaxed city life. The Gothic spires of the Town Hall and the serene beauty of Saint Peter’s Church set the tone for a stroll through cobbled streets lined with cafés and boutiques.

But when the sun sets, Leuven truly comes alive. The iconic Oude Markt, often dubbed “the longest bar in the world,” transforms into a buzzing hub of nightlife, with student bars, cozy pubs, and cocktail lounges lining the square shoulder to shoulder.

GCE Campus is just on the outskirts of the city centre and there is every opportunity to sample the charms of this beautiful city when you attend one of our courses.
